Jordan Hicks is a linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League (NFL). He currently wears the number 58 and was signed by the team as a free agent during the 2021 offseason.
Hicks began his football career at the University of Texas, where he played middle linebacker for the Longhorns from 2012-2014. After being selected in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, Hicks went on to become one of the top young linebackers in the league. In his first four seasons with the Eagles, Hicks recorded over 300 tackles, six interceptions, and seven sacks while earning recognition as one of the best defensive players in the NFL.
In March 2021, Hicks became a free agent and ultimately signed a two-year deal with the Vikings. The team has high hopes for him as a veteran presence who can provide leadership and stability to their defense.
