Description
Calijah Kancey is a defensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the National Football League (NFL). He currently wears the number 94 and plays on the Bucs’ defense line.
Kancey was selected by the Buccaneers in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft with the 57th overall pick. Prior to joining the NFL, he played college football at Pittsburgh, where he earned All-American honors as a junior in 2022. During his time at Pitt, Kancey recorded 118 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and 14 sacks in three seasons.
As a rookie in the NFL, Kancey has already made an impact on the field. In Week 1 of the 2023 season, he recorded two solo tackles and one quarterback hit against the Dallas Cowboys.
