Cairo Santos is a placekicker for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He was born on December 5, 1991, in São Paulo, Brazil, and grew up playing soccer before transitioning to football in high school.
Santos played college football at Tulane University, where he set numerous records as a kicker. After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as a free agent. In his rookie season, Santos made 30 out of 35 field goal attempts and earned a trip to the Pro Bowl.
After four seasons with the Chiefs, Santos spent time with several other teams, including the Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In October 2021, Santos returned to the Bears for his second stint with the team.
